Description The Rare Malts are a series of Diageo cask-strength releases designed to show off some of the lesser known whiskies in its empire. Selected from what were deemed to be some of the best casks in their warehouses, the series enjoys a stellar reputation for quality, and as a result bottlings are highly sought after today. While the series is now discontinued, its legacy lives on through the Diageo Special Releases.
